The Man Who Fell To Earth – Ceramic Mask

Maria Primolans first sculpture to celebrate the artist and genius of Prince, a piece which the artist has wanted to sculpt for many years. The scupture is inspired by 'Purple Rain' capturing the signature look which so many fans can identify.

The level of detail is much higher than any of Marias other pieces, and clearly shows the progession of her skills and committment to ensure Prince was captured in the correct likeness. The hair looks incredible and very lifelike, it almost looks soft and bouncy even though we know it is clay.

The thin lines of hair for his eyebrows and moustache, the eyes, skin tone, extra detail for his white ruffle shirt and purple jacket and the new technique on the back of the piece shows how hard she has worked on this piece, a clear display of the sculptors very best work.

The sculpture includes a black custom made stand, it has a square base and a bar which fits through the middle of the sculpture to hold it securely for display on any flat surface.

This larger bust clay sculpture is inspired by Harry Styles as part of a new series of life like sculptures being sculpted by Maria Primolan, there is also a smaller mask version available.

Once Maria had sculpted this bust and was happy it was time to paint Harrys iconic hair adding extra detail to the eyes with various shades of Green, his skin has been given an extremely life like finish and of course adding a dimple to complete the look.

Maria has included Harrys iconic Pink/Fuschia shirt from the album cover 'Fine Line'. The sculpture has a Matte finish which adds to the look and soft texture when touching the surface.

The sculpture is made with white clay, the sculpture comes with a custom made circular white stand to hold the piece to be displayed on a flat surface.

This popular mask sculpture is inspired by David Bowie and it comes with a stand so it is ready to display, a perfect additon to the collection of any Bowie fan.

These are copies of the original white clay version of 'The Blind Prophet' sculpture, we have been able to experiment with different colours and finishes on the resin material to achieve a unique final product which is hard to get using clay.

Each piece is slightly different, when the resin is poured into the mold they all form different marks on the surface and the weight of each piece differs slightly. As each is finished by hand the paint work on each also differs so your sculpture will be different to the next one made.

Sculpture inspired by David Bowie's 'The Blind Prophet' a character that appears in the music videos for the songs "Blackstar" and "Lazarus", from the album 'Blackstar' 2016.

This is one of David Bowie's final characters.

The Blind Prophet wears a blindfold with buttons over it. It could be related to fear. Or that being blind and only seeing darkness could relate to death. He has white, pointy hair and black clothes. He has been described as being anxious, introverted, and tormented.
